ADCP traffic Dhruv Dahiya and Rahul Verma, traffic expert, working for Ludhiana traffic police said that at present, the traffic coming from the creates congestion at the point where it meets the traffic coming from Vishwakarma chowk side.
Further, traffic coming from Vishwakarma chowk side and Dukhniwaran Sahib takes a turn towards Durga Mata mandir side at 90 degrees (from the bridge which has been divided in two parts) which creates trouble for the traffic moving from Vishwakarma chowk side to railway station road.
They said that after opening the slip way from side of the gurdwara which is blocked at present, authorities have proposed razing the divider just before unsafe part of the bridge (the part of bridge which is established over railway lines). From that part of the divider, traffic will move to same part of the bridge which has been divided in two parts from where traffic will move towards Durga Mata mandir.
